The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has announced the closure of the Restaurant Revitalization Fund. The program provided critical funding to over 105,000 restaurants representing $28.6 billion dollars.
Due to overwhelming demand, the SBA was unable to fund all qualified applications with the original appropriation provided in the American Rescue Plan Act.
All available payments have been sent. No further payments will be sent without congressional action for refunding.
Common Questions:
1. I still have questions about my application or payment status? Applications are no longer being reviewed, modified or processed. All payments have been sent and deposit corrections are no longer being processed.
2. What do I need to do in case RRF is re-funded? You do not need, nor are you able, to take any action on existing applications. Your application will be held, as is, in case of refunding.
3. I have questions regarding the use of funds that I received? Please watch the SBA.GOV website for information on the use of funds and reporting.
4. My payment was sent but returned to the SBA, who can I call about having the payment re-sent? No payments will be sent without RRF refunding.
